Information radiator screen savers for MacOS X
Now, I’m a big fan of information radiators and XFDs (extreme feedback devices), but this idea just seems a little flawed.

In our busy development office, I hardly ever see a screen-saver. If someone is in the office, they are probably using their computer(s). If someone is out of the office, they have usually turned off their monitor(s) to conserve power.
So, in my humble opinion, this is one of those “nice idea - but not very useful” suggestions.

Hi Frank,
Thanks for the feedback.
The idea of running it as a screen saver is just so that the CruiseControl box itself can have a screen attached to it and show that. This way, if something goes wrong and you want to do a little investigation (or in our case, if you just want to watch the Selenium tests run), moving the mouse is all you need to do.

I guess that makes sense.
In our setup the cruise-control box sits in a rack somewhere and runs “headless”, so the idea of attaching a screen-saver to it never occurred to me.
