RETROBRICK – the home of vintage and rare mobile phones

It’s a while since I saw one of those huge “brick” mobile phones in the wild, and it seems that they are now sufficiently rare to command collectors prices.

Shame. It would be pretty cool to take the guts out of a really ancient phone and replace it with a more modern interior just to puzzle people when you pull it out and take a call.

The market for junk always develops as soon as I clear out my garage. It seems that the Ford Cortinas and Kawasakis that I junked are now worth a mint. Maybe that’s a good business model. Buy junk now, sit on it and wait for me to clear out my garage. Once I do that, the price will shoot up after a couple of years.

Warning! I, and with me obviously others have negative experiences with Retrobrick.com.
The complaints about retrobrick.com varies from no deliveries to “Crap” phones which in my special case lasted exactly 3 days!
The worst thing after all that Mr. Tom Cable don`t respond to any negative comments or complaints. Please be careful when dealing with this “company”

This company and Mister tom cable are not reliable. They do not deliver after your full payment via Paypal!

Yes. they say they have the Startac 130 for the Jaguar, “Brand New” in box £199.00 but when you try to ask a question you get NO reply. I am pleased I was not conned into paying through Pay Pal as I doubt I would not have heard any more. THERE MUST BE A WAY OF STOPPING PAY PAL TAKING THE MONEY FOR THIS CRAP COMPANY IN THE FIRST PLACE..?????????
